Bibliography

Include a Bibliography of all semester sources. This should include sources that we've read for this class and 3-4 external sources (found through research) that support your reflective assessments about your own progress.

In this article, Dweck discuss her idea that students and educators use two different mindsets: fixed and growth. The fixed mindset refers to those people who believe that there is a limit to the knowledge an individual can acquire. These kinds of people also tend to believe that they should be judged according to the knowledge they possess. For example, teachers with fixed mindsets will often praise students for the knowledge they already have rather than the improvement they make in the course. On the other hand, those with growth mindsets believe that knowledge can be expanded throughout an individual's lifetime.
