Born in Verona, Italy around 1480, I am a lively, active woman. Some people call me La Gioconda or La Joconde, a term of endearment given to me by my admirers who liken me to a femme fatale, but I like to go by my proper name, Lisa Gioconde. I love to travel, and this is part of the reason I chose to pursue travel writing. Up until now, I have had to support myself by posing for portraits. It is my goal to one day have a small imprint under Fodors Publishing, so that I may publish a slew of travel guides, critiquing the world's most fashionable cities.
